This program is designed to provide students with a blend of adventure, historical exploration, and cultural immersion. Through this 2-day journey, students will gain valuable knowledge and insights

  • Students will explore the legacy of Maharana Pratap, learning about his courageous fight for freedom and resistance against Mughal invasion. They will understand his leadership qualities, the importance of resilience, and how he became a symbol of bravery and honor in Indian history. This will foster discussions on leadership, strategy, and the significance of defending one’s values.

    2. Environmental Awareness and Water Management:

  • At Fatehsagar Lake, students will gain insights into ancient water conservation techniques and how man-made lakes like this one played a critical role in Udaipur’s water management system. This visit offers an opportunity to learn about sustainable practices, the importance of natural resource conservation, and how history can teach us to respect the environment.

    3. Architectural Heritage and Cultural Preservation:

  • The tour of City Palace and Saheliyon ki Bari will expose students to Udaipur’s rich architectural heritage. They will learn how the fusion of Rajput, Mughal, and European styles has left a lasting imprint on Indian architecture. Understanding the craftsmanship behind these monuments encourages an appreciation for cultural preservation and the value of historical landmarks.

  • By visiting local markets and engaging in souvenir shopping, students will get a first-hand experience of Udaipur’s vibrant culture and its local economy. They’ll learn about regional crafts, traditional Rajasthani art forms, and how tourism plays a pivotal role in supporting local communities.

Tentative Itinerary

Departure from Hometown | Udaipur Sightseeing

  • The journey begins early morning, setting off towards the royal city of Udaipur. Upon arrival by mid-morning, students will check in at a resort, where they can relax and enjoy a delicious lunch before diving into the day’s activities. The exploration starts with a visit to Fatehsagar Lake, a man-made wonder with historical importance. Here, students will enjoy a scenic boat ride while learning about the lake's role in Udaipur’s water management and its importance in Mewar’s history.
  • Following this, students will visit the Maharana Pratap Smarak, a tribute to the great Rajput king known for his bravery and resistance against the Mughals. They’ll gain insight into Maharana Pratap's life, his leadership qualities, and his significance in Indian history, making it a valuable educational experience. The next stop is Saheliyon ki Bari, a beautiful garden with rich historical roots, designed for the royal women. Students will learn about the architectural beauty and cultural heritage of the place while exploring its fountains and pavilions. The day ends with a return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Udaipur Sightseeing | Hometown Departure

  • After a refreshing breakfast, students can enjoy some leisure time at the resort’s swimming pool. This is followed by a visit to the majestic City Palace, an iconic symbol of Udaipur’s rich history and royal architecture. While touring the palace, students will discover the art, culture, and stories of the Mewar dynasty. After sightseeing, they can stroll through the local markets around the palace, experiencing Udaipur’s vibrant culture and indulging in some souvenir shopping.
  • The trip concludes with a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, followed by departure in the evening, leaving Udaipur with cherished memories and a deeper understanding of India’s historical and cultural wealth.

  • Our team will be traveling from hometown to hometown.
  • All payments should be made in full and in advance

Safety Notes

  • At the time of trip boarding, all the students will be thoroughly briefed about the trip and all the necessary safety instructions by our well-trained professionals or Instructors.
  • Wherever the group will be taking a halt for having meals, for washrooms, etc. Our instructors will check them first and once they approve the hygiene & quality, the students will be allowed to deboard and use them.
  • On these trips, a female supervisor will also be travelling especially with the female students.
  • Once we reach our destination, our senior instructors/trip captains and supervisors will take care of room allotments, briefing about the sightseeing plan, meals, what to carry, morning wakeup calls and activities etc.
  • For better understanding and safety, local assistance will be provided.
  • As a responsible and experiential travel community, we would try our best to provide all regional knowledge about the destination to the students on the trips.
  • We do not promote any commercial activity on the trips and thus Samara Camps says strictly no to them.
  • There will be proper home-cooked meals and hygiene will be the main point of concern for all the students.
  • All the transport and accommodation vendors are checked for quality and safety before the trip starts. Moreover, we work with them regularly and thus are trusted in all aspects. We strictly instruct drivers not to smoke, drink and conduct themselves in a good manner.
  • The instructors/trip captains travelling with the students will be equipped with a proper medical kit for emergency use. We make sure that all the students should fill out a safety form before boarding the trip.
