Itinerary
Delhi to Shimla | Overnight Journey
- Assemble at boarding point in Delhi - Majnu Ka Tilla (near Vidhan Sabha Metro Station)* and meet your Trip Captain.
- Start an overnight journey to Shimla and socialize with your co-travellers.
Please Note: Travelers will be notified regarding exact Trip Boarding Details before 24 hours before Trip Departure.
Change of Plans: We reserve right to change any schedule in the interest of safety & general wellbeing as per the call taken by your Trip Captain due to weather, road conditions & other factors out of control.
Drive from Shimla to Chitkul | Chitkul Arrival
- After arriving in Shimla, we will take a halt for breakfast around Narkanda and soak in the much-needed #MountainVibes.
- Post breakfast, we will drive ahead to reach the Sangla Valley. Check in to our scenic campsite in Rakcham, freshen-up and have some leisure.
- What can be more magical than relaxing near the pristine Baspa River? A perfect location in the lap of majestic Himalayas to disconnect from the urban madness and connect with nature.
- In the evening, don’t miss out the much-needed acclimatization session by your trip captain followed by home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss camps.
Drive from Chitkul to Kalpa | Explore Kalpa
- Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, we will head out to take a stroll around the Chitkul - last Indian village before the Indo-Tibetan border.
- Visit Mathi Temple dedicated to the Goddess of local people of Kinnaur and take a soothing sip of tea or get yourself clicked at ‘Hindustan Ka Akhri Dhaba’.
- Drive towards Kalpa, check in to our cozy hotel and have some leisure. Witness the magical sunset as the golden light falls on the mighty Kinnaur Kailash range.
- Visit the famous Roghi (suicidepoint) and if time permits take a stroll in the beautiful Kalpa village.
- In the evening chill with your travel clan, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Kalpa to Tabo | Khab Sangam, Nako & Gue | Tabo Arrival
- Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, drive from Kalpa to Tabo village - home to the oldest Buddhist monastery located in Spiti Valley.
- Get mesmerized by the shape-shifting landscapes of mountains with every turn.
- Enroute we will take a halt at Khab Sangam, visit the famous Nako Lake and monastery and Gue village to see from your naked eyes the 500-year-old mummified remains of the Buddhist monk Sangha Tenzin.
- After arriving in Tabo village, check in to our comfy hotel/homestay and have some leisure.
- Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/homestay.
Tabo to Kaza | Dhankar & Pin Valley | Kaza Arrival
- Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, check-out from our hotel/homestay and visit Tabo Monastery.
- Take a walk inside the old monastery and learn about the history. Go for the famous Tabo caves (if time permits).
- Drive from Tabo to Dhankar Village and meditate in the cliff top Dhankar Monastery. Before arriving at our homely abode in Kaza we will drive along the Pin river towards one of the less explored regions and the only green national park in Spiti i.e. Pin Valley (if time permits).
- After arriving in Kaza, check in to our cozy hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure.
- The ones with high energy levels, feel free to take a stroll around Kaza and old bazaars. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Exploring Langza, Komic & Hikkim | Kaza Cafe Hopping
- Post breakfast, quickly head out for an action packed exploration of various quaint villages nestled in and around Kaza.
- Visit Spiti’s gorgeous fossil village Langza and get clicked with the iconic statue of Medicine Buddha with your clan.
- Feel proud for making it to the World’s highest motorable village Komic and absorb in the jaw dropping vistas of snow-laden Himalayas.
- The day will come to an end at Hikkim village known for its World’s highest post office.
- Since this is your last night in Kaza, therefore make the most out of it by chilling with your travel clan at various quaint cafes and take authentic souvenirs for your loved ones back home.
- Post exploration, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Key Monastery, Chicham & Kunzum | Chandratal Arrival
- Post breakfast, bid adieu to your hosts in Kaza and drive towards Key Monastery. Spend quality time speaking to the monks or sip a cup of herbal tea in Key Monastery’s kitchen.
- Explore the Kibber village and take some #InstaPerfect shots at Chicham Bridge - Asia’s highest suspension bridge connecting the peaceful Kibber village.
- Enroute Chandratal, we will take a pit stop at Losar to grab a satisfying lunch and continue towards Kunzum La situated at 15,000ft approx.
- After arriving at Chandratal, check in to our scenic campsite and experience the calmness of the Moon Lake.
- In the evening chill with your travel clan under the gaze of million stars and savour homestyle cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss camps.
Drive from Chandratal to Manali | Depart For Delhi
- Wake up quite early in the morning and post breakfast drive towards Manali from Chandratal.
- Enroute Manali, we will take a pit stop for morning tea at the famous Chacha-Chachi Ka Dhaba or Chhatru.
- Traverse from barren landscapes of Lahaul & Spiti to lush green vistas of Kullu Valley via Atal Tunnel.
- After arriving in Manali, feel free to take a stroll around Old Manali cafes or The Mall Road (if time permits) by yourself and start-off your return journey to Delhi in the evening.
Delhi Arrival | Trip Ends
- Reach Delhi early morning with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.

- Transportation: AC Semi-Sleeper Bus (Delhi to Shimla & Manali to Delhi) and Force Traveler/Cab at all other times.
- Accommodation on Sharing Basis: Hotel/Homestays (Kalpa, Tabo & Kaza), Swiss Camps (Rakcham & Chandratal).
- Meals: Rakcham (Breakfast+Dinner), Kalpa (Breakfast+Dinner), Tabo (Breakfast+Dinner), Kaza (2 Dinners+2 Breakfasts), Chandratal (Breakfast+Dinner), starting from Dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 7.
- Experienced and cool Trip Captain.
- Bonfire (if weather permits) & music only during the stay (Rakcham only) and local explorations as per itinerary.
- Driver allowances, toll taxes, parking, state taxes and permits.
- Oxygen cylinder and medical kit to handle extreme health problems.

- 50% registration fee is required to confirm the booking.
- Full payment must be completed before the start of the program.
- Participant will be allowed to attend the camp only after full payment and submission of all required documents.
- Cancellation charges are applicable on the total program cost as follows:

- No refund or reduction will be given for unused tour services.
- Participants must strictly follow all camp rules and regulations. Disciplinary action may lead to termination without refund.
- In case of Force Majeure (natural calamities, political unrest, strikes, government orders, etc.), cancellation charges will apply as per Samara World's policy.
- Any additional or unexpected costs arising during a Force Majeure or emergency will be borne by the participant.
- Participants must settle such unexpected expenses directly with the Trip Captain or Point of Contact (POC).
- Any penalties due to the absence of valid ID proofs will be borne by the participant.
- Samara Camps is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
- Samara Camps is not liable for any mishaps, accidents, or cancellations caused by third-party vendors, natural disasters, or unforeseen events.
- Emergency medical treatment may be arranged if needed, and the guardian will be informed as soon as possible.
- Participation in adventure sports/activities is voluntary. All necessary precautions are taken, but Samara Camps is not responsible for any mishap.
- All disputes are subject to Vadodara jurisdiction.
- Trains and Volvo buses used during the trip may be managed by third-party vendors; delays or breakdowns will be handled as efficiently as possible.
- Participants must respect nature, local communities, and camp surroundings.
- Personal belongings (gear, luggage, etc.) are the responsibility of the participant.
- Requests like Early Check-in, Late Check-out, specific room views, etc., are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
- Samara Camps reserves the right to change the schedule or itinerary in the interest of safety and well-being due to weather, road conditions, or any other unavoidable circumstances.
- Photographs and videos may be taken by Samara Camps or representatives during the program.
