About Jaisalmer :

Known as the Golden City“, it derives its name from the abundant use of golden sandstone in its architecture, which imparts a radiant, golden hue to the cityscape.

Jaisalmer is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, remarkable history, and unique desert landscape.

Folk Music and Dance: The city is known for its traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance forms like the Kalbeliya dance and the Manganiar and Langa musicians.

Art and Craft: Jaisalmer is renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, including intricate stone carvings, ornate havelis (mansions), and delicate embroidery work.

Cuisine: Rajasthani cuisine, characterized by its use of spices and ghee (clarified butter), is a prominent part of Jaisalmer’s culture. Dishes like dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, and sweets like ghewar and malpua are popular here.

Festivals: The city celebrates various festivals with great fervor, including Diwali, Holi, and Teej.

Camel Safari: Jaisalmer’s desert terrain offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the Thar Desert on camelback.

Jaisalmer’s cultural richness, combined with its enchanting architecture and desert landscapes, make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a glimpse into Rajasthan’s vibrant heritage and history.

Itinerary

The Golden Journey Begins

  • On this first day, gather at the designated reporting point 90 minutes before departure and board the bus or traveler as we set out on our adventure to the enchanting Golden City of Jaisalmer.

Please Note: Travelers will be notified regarding exact Trip Boarding Details before 24 hours before Trip Departure.

Change of Plans: We reserve right to change any schedule in the interest of safety & general wellbeing as per the call taken by your Trip Captain due to weather, road conditions & other factors out of control.

Dunes and Desert Adventures

  • Day two begins with breakfast on the way (not included). Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, Transfer to Sam Sand Dunes. Check-in to your comfortable accommodation in Dunes, take some time to relax, and freshen up.
  • Later, It's time for adventure with a thrilling Desert Jeep Safari and a Camel Safari to embrace the desert vibes.
  • Enjoy the Amazing Sunset in the Desert itself.
  • Return to the campsite for a cultural extravaganza, including a delectable Local Rajasthani Dish and mesmerizing Local Music & Folk Dance.

Exploring Jaisalmer's Treasures

  • Wake up to the bliss of a desert morning and depart for Jaisalmer City.
  • Our city exploration begins with a visit to Gadisar Lake, where you can enjoy serene pedal boating (Tickets not Included).
  • Next, explore the exquisite Patwaon ki Haveli, known for its stunning architecture (Tickets not Included), and then continue to the majestic Jaisalmer Fort.
  • En route, we'll visit the captivating Bada Bagh (Tickets not Included) to capture some beautiful moments.
  • Spend a magical night at the campsite with Local Folk Cuisine and Cultural Performances.

Desert Wonders and Farewell

  • Post Breakfast, Day four starts with exploring the mesmerizing Kuldhara Village, a place steeped in history and mystery.
  • Afterward, we'll visit The Jaisalmer War Memorial (Tickets not Included) to honor the contributions and sacrifices of war heroes and to highlight their bravery.
  • Later, we'll depart for our hometown, reaching it by night with some beautiful memories of our unforgettable journey to the Golden City of Jaisalmer.
  • Reach Vadodara by Late night

Important Notes

  • Original Govt. Id proof to be carried by participants during travel.
  • Any fine levied for not carrying Id proof will be borne by the participants themselves.
  • Any damage done to Hotel / Camp property or transport means will attract penalty which needs to be cleared before camp completion.
  • Any commercial Sports like paragliding, Para Motoring is optional and is on paid basis.
  • If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation or meals, extra bill be raised. Samara camp will not be responsible for any extra expenses.
  • Samara camp will not be responsible for any change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like delay in flight timings, political disturbances natural phenomenon etc.
  • If any group member wants to leave group in between the tour, the participant has to pay extra transportation cost.
  • All guests will be responsible for safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be responsible for the damage, missing or lost of their luggage.
  • Compensation of any damage / accident done by you during tour to property / person would be directly payable by you.

Terms & Conditions

  • 50% Registration fees will be applicable for the booking of the program.
  • All payments to be done in full advance before the start of the program.
  • Cancellation charges applicable on the total program cost.
  • Charges are 20% before 30 days, 50% before 15 days, no refund within 15 days of the start of the program.
  • Participant will be permitted to attend camp after full payment and submission of necessary documents.
  • No refund will be granted if the camper leaves the camp on his/her own account or is removed from the camp due to inability to adjust or is unable to function adequately or to comply with the camp rules.
  • There is no reduction or refund based on missed days due to absence, illness or to early withdrawal.
  • Participants must follow the rules and regulations of the camp and may be terminated from the camp if he/she does not comply.
  • I here by consent to the taking photographs, videos by Samara Campsor its designated representatives.
  • I also grant the right to edit, use and re-use said for any and all educational, public service, or not for profit purposes selected by samara.
  • Samara Camps is not responsible for any lost of personal items, stolen or damaged during the camp. It is sole responsibility of the participants only.
  • Samara Camps is not responsible for any mishap, cancellation of activity or accident due to unforeseen circumstances or natural calamity.
  • In an emergency, Samara Camps may obtain medical treatment if necessary.
  • I understand that if medical treatment is deemed necessary I will be informed as soon as possible.
  • Any penalty arising due to non presence of valid Id proofs will be borne by the participants directly.
  • I hereby agree that i am participating in this adventure sports/activities of my free will and consent and understand and agree that Samara Camps and their volunteers take all necessary precautions to minimize the risk and avoid any accidents and ensure safe participation in these activities and are not responsible for any mishap that may occur while participating.
  • I have read the above statements and fully understand its contents and realize that this serves as an agreement of release and assumption of any risk on myself .
  • All disputes are subject to Vadodara jurisdiction.
