Setting Off on the Educational Expedition – Departure from Hometown

  • Students report at the designated railway station at least 90 minutes before departure time, marking the official start of their educational journey.
  • After a quick headcount and group briefing by the tour leaders, students board the train bound for Chennai.

Arrival & Settling In – Understanding Regional Gateways

  • Upon arriving at New Jalpaiguri, we will transfer to Hotel in New Jalpaiguri.
  • Upon arrival, check into your hotel, unpack and relax.
  • Overnight stay in New Jalpaiguri.

Journey Through Landscapes – Learning Geography on the Go

  • After a good night’s rest at New Jalpaiguri, we begin our exciting road trip to Darjeeling, with a scenic stop at the beautiful Mirik Lake!
  • Surrounded by pine trees and cool mountain air, Mirik is the perfect place for some relaxed sightseeing, photo ops, and fun by the lake.
  • After soaking in the views, we continue our journey to the Queen of the Hills – Darjeeling, where we check in for an overnight stay, ready for more mountain magic ahead!

Mountains, Monasteries & Mountaineering – A Day of Discovery in Darjeeling

  • Rise and shine early at 3:30 AM for a magical journey to Tiger Hill, where students will witness the breathtaking sunrise over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. After soaking in the golden views, we return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead.
  • Then it’s time for a full day of Darjeeling sightseeing! Our adventure begins at the historic Batasia Loop, followed by a visit to the charming Ghoom Station and the peaceful Ghoom Monastery. The day continues with a visit to the Japanese Temple and the serene Peace Pagoda, perfect spots for quiet reflection and group bonding.
  • Next up, we explore the wild wonders of the Darjeeling Zoo, home to rare Himalayan animals, and the fascinating exhibits at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI). It’s a day packed with discovery, learning, and pure mountain fun!
  • Night Stay in Darjeeling.

Into the Skies of Sikkim – Geography, Adventure & Fear-Conquering at Pelling

  • After breakfast, we say goodbye to the misty hills of Darjeeling and begin our scenic drive to the peaceful town of Pelling in Sikkim.
  • Upon arrival, get ready for an exciting highlight — a visit to the Pelling Sky Walk, India’s first glass sky walk! With stunning views and just the right touch of thrill, it’s the perfect photo spot and a fun challenge for our young adventurers.
  • After the visit, we check into our hotel in Pelling for a relaxed evening and a cozy overnight stay amidst the beautiful mountains.

Sacred Trails & Cultural Tales – A Spiritual Journey to Gangtok

  • After breakfast, we begin our journey toward Gangtok, but not without some unforgettable stops along the way! First, we visit the serene and stunning Buddha Park, where a towering golden statue and peaceful gardens welcome us.
  • Next, we explore the grand and spiritually rich Namchi Chardham, home to replicas of India’s sacred shrines — a perfect blend of learning and wonder.
  • Before reaching Gangtok, we make one final stop at the magnificent Rumtek Monastery, a peaceful place filled with color, culture, and calming chants.
  • After a day of discovery and scenic drives, we arrive in Gangtok for a relaxing overnight stay, all set for more adventures ahead!

Exploring Himalayan Wonders – A Scientific & Cultural Excursion to Changu Lake

  • Get ready for a day full of high-altitude adventure! After breakfast, we head out for an unforgettable excursion to the breathtaking Changu Lake (Tsomgo Lake), located high in the Eastern Himalayas. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and sparkling with glacial beauty, this sacred lake is a true wonder of nature.
  • Kids will enjoy the scenic drive, the cool mountain air, and maybe even spot some yaks along the way! After spending time taking in the views, snapping photos, and making snow memories (if the season allows), we return to Gangtok in the evening for a relaxed dinner and fun group time back at the hotel.

Nature’s Farewell – From Mystic Waterfalls to Meaningful Reflections

  • After breakfast, we begin our return journey from Gangtok to NJP, but not before one last adventure! On the way, we’ll visit the lively and picturesque Banjhakri Waterfalls, a favorite spot filled with legends, lush greenery, and the soothing sound of rushing water. It’s the perfect place for group photos and a final dose of fun before heading downhill.
  • By evening, we reach New Jalpaiguri, where students will check in for their overnight stay, relax, and reflect on the amazing memories made during this unforgettable mountain journey.

Journey Back – Taking Memories & Lessons Home

  • After breakfast, students will board the train/flight for their hometown, carrying with them not just souvenirs, but a heart full of memories, friendships, and learnings from the hills of Darjeeling, Pelling, and Gangtok.
  • This tour wraps up with a deeper understanding of geography, culture, ecology, and heritage – all experienced beyond the classroom.

Important Notes

  • A team of senior instructors will be travelling along with the children in the flight / Train.
  • At the time of trip boarding, all the students will be thoroughly briefed about the trip and all the necessary safety instructions by our well-trained professionals or Instructors.
  • Allotting them seats, boarding the luggage, etc will be taken care of by the instructors.
  • Every check-in will be assigned a dedicated senior instructor.
  • Wherever the group will be taking a halt for having meals, for washrooms, etc. Our instructors will check them first and once they approve the hygiene & quality, the students will be allowed to deboard and use them.
  • Once we reach our destination, our senior instructors/trip captains and supervisors will take care of room allotments, briefing about the sightseeing plan, meals, what to carry, morning wakeup calls and activities etc.
  • For better understanding and safety, local assistance will be provided in case of activities like trekking, hikes, etc.
  • As a responsible and experiential travel community, we would try our best to provide all regional knowledge about the destination to the students on the trips.
  • There will be proper home-cooked meals and hygiene will be the main point of concern for all the students.
  • All the transport and accommodation vendors are checked for quality and safety before the trip starts. Moreover, we work with them regularly and thus are trusted in all aspects. We strictly instruct drivers not to smoke, drink and conduct themselves in a good manner.
  • The instructors/trip captains travelling with the students will be equipped with a proper medical kit for emergency use. We make sure that all the students should fill out a safety form before boarding the trip.
  • Facilities such as oxygen cylinders and doctors on-call will also be provided on our trips.
  • Our team will be traveling from hometown to hometown.
