  • Students report at the designated railway station at least 90 minutes before departure time, marking the official start of their educational journey.
  • After a quick headcount and group briefing by the tour leaders, students board the train bound for Chennai.

Arrival & Orientation — Settling into Chennai and Preparing for Learning Adventures

  • Arrive in Chennai by evening.
  • Check into your hotel, then proceed with orientation and room allocation.
  • Enjoy some rest for the night, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Exploring Science & Stars — A Day at Periyar Science Centre & Birla Planetarium

  • Begin the educational tour with an exciting visit to the Periyar Science & Technology Centre and B.M. Birla Planetarium — ideal destinations for both students and adults to explore the wonders of science and technology. The museum features engaging exhibits on physics, chemistry, biology, and astronomy, making learning fun and interactive.
  • Later, proceed to Sriharikota, home to India’s premier space launch center, offering students a deeper insight into space research and satellite technology.

Important Notes

  • At the time of trip boarding, all the students will be thoroughly briefed about the trip and all the necessary safety instructions by our well-trained professionals or Instructors.
  • A team of senior instructors will be travelling along with the children in the flight / Train.
  • Allotting them seats, boarding the luggage, etc will be taken care of by the instructors.
  • Every check-in will be assigned a dedicated senior instructor.
  • Wherever the group will be taking a halt for having meals, for washrooms, etc. Our instructors will check them first and once they approve the hygiene & quality, the students will be allowed to deboard and use them.
  • On these trips, a female supervisor will also be travelling especially with the female students.
  • Once we reach our destination, our senior instructors/trip captains and supervisors will take care of room allotments, briefing about the sightseeing plan, meals, what to carry, morning wakeup calls and activities etc.
  • For better understanding and safety, local assistance will be provided in case of activities like trekking, hikes, etc.
  • As a responsible and experiential travel community, we would try our best to provide all regional knowledge about the destination to the students on the trips.
  • We do not promote any commercial activity on the trips and thus Samara Camps says strictly no to them.
  • There will be proper home-cooked meals and hygiene will be the main point of concern for all the students.
  • All the transport and accommodation vendors are checked for quality and safety before the trip starts. Moreover, we work with them regularly and thus are trusted in all aspects. We strictly instruct drivers not to smoke, drink and conduct themselves in a good manner.
  • The instructors/trip captains travelling with the students will be equipped with a proper medical kit for emergency use. We make sure that all the students should fill out a safety form before boarding the trip.
  • Facilities such as oxygen cylinders and doctors on-call will also be provided on our trips.
  • Our team will be traveling from hometown to hometown.
  • All payments should be made in full and in advance

Terms & Conditions

Payment Policy

  • 50% of the total program cost is required at the time of booking.
  • 40% must be paid 10 days before the program begins.
  • The remaining 10% is due after the program's completion.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation charges will apply to the total program cost:
    • 20% if canceled 30 days before the start date.
    • 50% if canceled 15 days before the start date.
    • No refund will be issued if cancellation occurs within 15 days of the program start date.
  • No refunds will be provided if a participant:
    • Leaves the camp or trip voluntarily.
    • Is removed from the camp due to disciplinary issues or inability to adapt.
    • Misses any part of the trip due to illness, absence, or early withdrawal.

Participation Conditions

  • Students may join the camp only after full payment and submission of the required documents along with valid ID proof.
  • Participants must adhere to all rules and regulations during the trip.
  • Samara Camps reserves the right to remove any participant from the program if rules are violated.

Media Consent

  • I hereby consent to photographs and videos being taken during the program by Samara Camps or their representatives.
  • I grant the right to edit, use, and reuse such media for educational, public service, or promotional purposes related to Samara Camps.

Liability & Safety

  • The organization is not liable for any incidents, cancellations of activities, or accidents caused by unforeseen circumstances or natural disasters.
  • In the event of a medical emergency, Samara Camps reserves the right to obtain emergency medical treatment, and parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible.
  • Any penalties or issues arising from the lack of valid ID proof will be the participant's responsibility.
  • Each participant must complete an indemnity form before traveling, which must be duly signed by a parent.
  • The quoted cost does not include 5% GST.
